Privacy
Right now hire/cut is a waitlist. The only thing we collect from you is your email address, given when you submit the form. This page explains what happens with it.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you submit the waitlist form.
Nothing else. No accounts. No analytics. No cookies. None. No name, no résumé, no profile photo, no anything else.
Who handles it
Waitlist signups are processed through Formspree, a third-party form service that stores the submission and forwards it to us. Their privacy policy is on their website.
That’s the only processor involved.
Why we keep it
Legal basis: your consent, given when you submit the form. We use the email to notify you when there is something to show — and for nothing else.
We will not:
- sell your email
- share it with recruiters, employers, or any other party
- use it for unrelated marketing
- sign you up for newsletters you didn’t ask for
How long we keep it
We keep your email until either:
- we launch and you tell us you don’t want to be contacted anymore, or
- you ask us to delete it (sooner).
Whichever comes first.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you can:
- ask what we have on you
- ask us to correct it
- ask us to delete it
- withdraw consent at any time
- object to how we process it
- ask for a copy (data portability)
- complain to a supervisory authority — in the UK that’s the ICO; in the EU it’s your country’s data protection authority
To exercise any of these, email privacy@hirecut.ai.
Changes
If this page changes substantively, we’ll update the date at the top. If the change affects how we handle data you’ve already given us, we’ll email you before it takes effect.
